We make minimalist windows with the planet and people in mind, and aim to reduce both embodied and operational carbon emissions by simplifying the component to minimize the use of frames and creating energy efficient windows. We pursue repairability and long-term usage, avoiding single-use packaging, unnecessary prints, and marketing that encourages over-consumption.
I am Naree Kim, UBLO Inc's CEO. I co-founded the company with Robert-Jan van SANTEN, CTO, after working over 10 years at VS-A facade engineering offices. We have worked in several countries with different climates and become convinced that the future of windows would evolve towards simpler frames.
