June Wang is a game changer and a cultural architect, known for pioneering inclusive, high-impact ecosystems in social design. As the founder of European Innovation Co-Creation (EIC), she has sparked transformative collaborations between Taiwan and Europe, empowering a network of social entrepreneurs to address critical issues in Loneliness and Isolation, Green Care, and Sustainable Communities and Spaces. EIC is not just a project; it’s a movement reshaping how communities leverage design and communication for social impact.
In 2018, the German Institute Taipei awarded June the Taiwan/Germany Friendship Medal for her Innovative contributions. From 2018 to 2024, EIC has led 10 thematic tours across Germany—exploring co-housing, animal-assisted therapy, digital innovation for aging societies, and solutions to mental health and loneliness—each one igniting new perspectives and collaborations across borders.
June’s academic journey spans physics, philosophy, and political science, combining a Ph.D. in Physics from SUNY Stony Brook with a master’s in philosophy and ongoing Ph.D. research in Political Science at the University of Trier, Germany. She further refined her expertise as a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
An active public speaker, June sheds light on the intersection of European culture, social innovation, and ESG-driven entrepreneurship and has translated seminal works from English and German into Chinese.
Her past roles include Adjunct Assistant Professor of Liberal Education at Taipei Medical University (TMU) and Researcher at the College of Technology Management at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, where she continually inspired the next generation of impact-driven leaders.
