About

China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park, under the jurisdiction of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, was established with the approval of the State Council in February 1994, covering an administrative area of 278 square kilometers. It is a flagship cooperative project between the governments of China and Singapore.

Over the past 30 years of development, SIP has pioneered innovative policies, advanced reform pilots, and nurtured an export-oriented economy. It has grown into a vibrant hub of innovation and entrepreneurship, a modern international eco-city, and a model of high-quality development. Its distinctive “SIP Model” of reform, innovation, openness, and integration has been widely recognized as one of China’s most successful regional development experiences.
