My organisation

HKSTP is committed to building up Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology (I&T) hub. We attract and nurture talent, accelerate and commercialise I&T for entrepreneurs on their journey of growth in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, Asia and beyond. HKSTP has established a thriving I&T ecosystem which is home to 13 unicorns, more than 15,000 research professionals and over 2,500 technology companies focused on developing healthtech, AI and robotics, fintech and smart city technologies. Through our R&D infrastructure, expertise and partnership networks, as well as 3 InnoParks that reinforce the vision of new industrialisation for the city, HKSTP will help establish I&T as a pillar of growth for Hong Kong and serve as a launchpad for global growth at the heart of the GBA innovation powerhouse. About me

Born in Hong Kong, spent her youth and received education in the Netherlands, Ms. Chan started her career as a corporate banker in early 90’s before she became entrepreneur in 2001 with SINOVA, a corporate services & advisory firm. In 2021 she started her latest venture Orientis Ltd., an investment advisory firm for family offices & venture capital firms interested in private equity investment in Europe.

Ms. Chan is also active in the community services and holds advisory positions in various institutions. At present, she is a board member of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation as well as a Member of Competition Commission, an Advisory Committee Member of Enhancing Self-Reliance Through District Partnership Programme (ESR), a Member of the Trade and Industry Advisory Board (TIAB) as well as a Member of the Advisory Board of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. She is also an Honorary Advisor to Ina Ho Cantonese Opera Research Centre of HK Metropolitan University.

Ms. Chan is licensed under SFO for type 6 & type 9 activities. She is also an INED at JBB Builders International Limited.
