Dedi Kusuma Wijaya

I am the Managing Director of Karsa CityLab (KCL), an urban transformation lab based in Jakarta that focuses on helping Indonesian cities elevate themselves globally through creative, inclusive, and data-driven approaches. My work sits at the intersection of urban governance, creative economy, and city branding — bridging policy, community, and innovation.

At KCL, we collaborate with local governments, think-tanks, and international partners to design and implement city initiatives such as participatory governance programs, creative industry strategies, and urban branding projects like Jakarta Future Festival and Owl Economy.

I am particularly passionate about how cities can harness creativity, technology, and citizen participation to strengthen identity, livability, and global competitiveness. My interest in joining the Asia Berlin Summit is to learn from and connect with like-minded innovators who share the vision of making cities more adaptive, inclusive, and inspiring places to live.
