SparkWise Initiative is a youth-led social enterprise committed to tackling energy poverty, waste pollution, and poor STEM education in underserved Nigerian communities. We repurpose plastic and electronic waste into affordable solar-powered appliances—lanterns, fans, and torches—giving students access to clean, reliable light for learning. Beyond innovation, we empower young people with practical STEM, repair, and green entrepreneurship skills, fostering creativity, sustainability, and climate resilience. Our mission is to improve education and living standards while promoting environmental responsibility. Through school-based training, advocacy campaigns, and partnerships with ministries, engineers, and educators, SparkWise envisions a future where every home is electrified sustainably, and every learner becomes a problem-solver.

About me

I am Ebenezer Otito Anyadiegwu, a seasoned STEAM educator, clean energy advocate, and youth innovation mentor from Nigeria. I hold an NCE in Computer Science and Education from the Institute of Ecumenical Education (IECE), Enugu, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics Education from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). With over ten years of teaching experience, I integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) to nurture creativity and problem-solving among students.

As an alumnus of Teach For Nigeria and the PachiPanda Sustainability Challenge, I founded the SparkWise Initiative, which empowers students to transform waste into clean energy and build solar-powered appliances for learning and community use. I am also an active member of the Teach For All Global Network, SDSN Youth Nigeria, and the Pan-African Climate Education Network, working to bridge educational inequities through sustainable innovation and climate education.
