Phanith Sokha

Mr. Phanith is the Director of the Startup Development Department at Techo Startup Center (TSC), the innovation arm of Cambodia’s Ministry of Economy and Finance. He leads government initiatives that nurture startups and drive digital transformation, including the Startup Cambodia National Program, which empowers founders to move from ideas to market-ready ventures.

With over 15 years of experience across the public, private, and development sectors, Phanith combines ecosystem building, program design, and strategic partnerships to strengthen Cambodia’s startup landscape. He collaborates closely with regional partners across ASEAN to strengthen connections and exchange knowledge that supports Cambodia’s growing startup ecosystem.

Additionally, Phanith lectures in the Master’s Program in Entrepreneurship and Project Management at the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), where he integrates real-world startup cases into the academic curriculum. His mission is to help founders solve local challenges through innovation, promote digital business transformation, and build a vibrant, connected startup ecosystem for Cambodia and the region.
