Aunkur is a farm analytics engine built for the Global South, using proprietary AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) devices like rapid soil testing device and portable weather stations to deliver actionable, site-specific agronomic intelligence to smallholder farmers. For just $2.50/month/acre, farmers receive personalized recommendations on seeds, fertilizers, and pest management via voice calls, SMS, app, and local franchise agents, helping them increase productivity while reducing input costs and carbon footprints. Beyond the farm, Aunkur powers a trusted data infrastructure for banks, input sellers, insurers, and development partners. Our analytics enable credit scoring, demand forecasting, traceable input delivery, and climate-smart supply chains, turning fragmented rural economies into connected, investable markets. Founded in 2022 by a team of engineers, data scientists, and rural development experts, Aunkur is on a mission to build the largest agricultural data bank in the Global South. With over 30,000 registered farmers and partnerships with private banks and agri-input networks, Aunkur is proving that high-quality, homegrown technology, delivered through an inclusive business model, can make climate resilience profitable for the world’s most vulnerable farmers.
