Vijay Mamtani

Vijay Mamtani, CEO and founder of “Prayogik” Started his entrepreneurial journey straight from U.G where he Passed out as an electrical engg. From National Institute of Technology Bhopal (NIT-B). He started his venture with name PRAYOGik (Experiment) to check his capabilities and problem-solving approach with his own perspective proposed solutions unlikely traditional approaches makes him unique and hardworking. He is a serial entrepreneur started his journey to reduce the traffic of one of our busiest cities of INDIA in Mumbai. Let’s hear in his own words how he proposed a solution which is now billion-dollar business by big corporates “I am the youngest in my family having three siblings graduated from prestigious college National Institute of Technology Bhopal makes me the center of circle with whole lots of pressure to glow in the world as biggest as possible because my background allows me to all resources as usually not happen with a struggler. I cracked IIT and decided to go NIT Bhopal where I realized that there is BHEDD CHAAL of new stream like GATE, IAS, IPS and a good job with minimum package of Rs25Lak per annum. That first year of my college admission depresses me because I was not expecting this after so much of struggle through 8th class to 12th including IIT Clearance. Due to no consciously participating in the college curriculum, I was in observation mode as any school going boy upgrades to college going student allows him to observe the big life at National level where I started experimented myself and commonly observed the problems faced in daily life in college of bike stolen or bike damage by bully’s or senior ragging.

As a person I am very passionate about the achievements, hard works, struggle which allow me to observe on myself through my meditation process to check how to overcome this depressing traditional way of life living. I meditate strongly, listen to Sandeep Maheshwari to get to know about my SWOT Analysis how I should approach my life in best possible manner and I cleared in my mind that this body is an instrument & tool and the mind is a control system for this body to operate as we want which is breakthrough my journey where I started acting like an engineer and imagine how an engineer acts in this situation where he is surrounded by various labs, hardware projects and at the end of the day when we act for something, its not pressure us to sustain that thing more efficiently, more lively and without any expectation which is a unique composition of any human nature to proceed for any struggle in his or her life to achieve an unbelievable goal. This enlighten in my life has played a very strong role in behaving like an engineer or a student or anything that I want my body to operate in any condition to switch on or off as per the convenience of that goal statement and feel no pressure of competition or any student graduated from Harvard or with the statement of “how I supposed to be an India’s best engineer or Innovator”. I was going through various changes in my whole mind as usually observed by any young person who wants to conquer the world with his full of energy and potential. That was the moment I started focusing on my nearby tools & tackles that are labs and other hardware projects possibilities where in my 2nd year I got the opportunity to showcase my idea of working on MOBILE BIKE ALARM a small hardware project of Rs500 which will allow your bike to call you in any danger situation irrespective of your location. And that was the moment when I got appreciated in my full batchmates and by professors which give me that KICK to work more hard on upcoming projects and that allows me to push myself for bigger projects where I took the challenge of “Rental bicycle system” offered by ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) President and in 6 months of struggle without knowing any depth knowledge for the system but the commitment was already done to produce the Rental Bicycle system made my belief system so strong and allows to act like as a role to complete this task by hook or crook. And finally, I achieved it and demonstrate to govt. of MP to solve the problem of transportation using eco-friendly solution that gives me a new kick to experiment my life with all possibilities. And accordingly, I have made my final academic project after being into various industrial & academic that is “Self-Balancing Skate Board” which is a unique transportation in colleges consider as electric vehicle with all charging station and that has been appreciated at national level and awarded me the prize in 2014 makes my belief stronger to work on hardware projects as strongly as I can & the point to be noted that it was not the time of Startup India. I was so convinced to solve the society problems with my intellectual level, knowledge and understanding of tools & tackles, engineering etc. I stepped into Mumbai to solve the problem of traffic.
