About

New Soil. New Soul. is a next-generation urban infrastructure engineered from biomass waste to enable sustainable, high-yield urban agriculture. Developed through a Germany–Singapore collaboration, it is 75% lighter than conventional soil and four times richer in nutrients, making it ideal for rooftop farms, vertical systems, and land-scarce cities like Singapore.

By transforming organic waste into a regenerative growth medium, New Soil. New Soul. embodies the principles of the Circular Bioeconomy - turning urban waste into urban food. It supports Singapore’s 30-by-35 mission by creating the foundation for localized, resilient, and climate-smart food production, while contributing to greener cities and a more self-sufficient future.
